Sharon Uchechi Joshua is a dedicated and compassionate nurse practitioner with dual certification in Family Practice and Psychiatric-Mental Health. She is nationally certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and licensed by the Arizona Board of Nursing.

 

Sharon began her nursing journey in 2007, driven by her passion for science, medicine, and a deep desire to serve humanity. Her progressive career includes roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant (2007), Licensed Practical Nurse (2009), Registered Nurse (2013), and Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate (2015). She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University in 2020 and later completed a Post-Graduate Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing at Wilkes University in 2024.

 

Her clinical experience spans diverse specialties including long-term care, behavioral health, medical-surgical nursing, emergency care, and correctional health providing her with a broad and well-rounded foundation for advanced practice. With over four years of practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner and additional psychiatric experience, Sharon brings both expertise and empathy to patient care.

 

Beyond her professional work, Sharon finds joy in helping underserved populations, supporting her community, dancing, and serving the Lord with all her heart. Her philosophy of care is rooted in compassion, cultural humility, and evidence-based practice, ensuring every patient receives holistic, personalized care.
